Overall I felt that the process of making our film 'Is It Worth It?' was incredibly stressful and not without difficulty, but in the end, I feel like what we produced was of a professional and high standard. Despite the fact that our group was one of the first to come together, it took a while for all the members of our group to take the task at hand as seriously as others in the group were taking it. A number of times, we would organise to meet up so we could discuss pre-production elements or even when we were filming we would organise to meet up and half the group would not show up. The fact that this problem was consistent from the start of the process all the way to the end was disheartening and was certainly disappointing, it also contributed to a lot of the difficulties that we had with production and definitely increased the stress levels of certain members of the group such as myself and Hamdi, who was consistent and present at all arranged times.
However, whilst it was often difficult to get our group together, the times when we did manage to all come together we all worked incredibly hard and the team dynamic was excellent. We all had our own skills when it came to every aspect of production and everyone, once they arrived on a shooting day, pulled their weight. There is certainly nobody who I would say didn't pull their weight overall, everybody contributed a significant amount at some point during production and I was happy with the way that everybody took on their respective pre-assigned responsibilities.
Overall I would say that, despite some failings when it came to timekeeping and attendance, our group worked very well together and equal contribution and delegation allowed us to make a really great documentary which I think we should all be proud of.
